A great crowd came out for our very first  Chicken Pie Supper and Dessert Auction to raise funds to fill Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. Even the storms and rain couldn't keep folks away from this fun event! Rocky Cook was our Auctioneer extraordinaire...really working the crowd to get the very best price for each masterpiece. From persimmon puddings to backward chocolate chip cookies...even precious handed-down for generations secret recipe cakes...there was literally something to suit every taste! That made the battle even sweeter! Please excuse all the puns! The table this writer sat at during this auction was overflowing with puns and fun!
Now Phyllis and Hillary will have to get their shopping shoes on because they have 26 more boxes to fill and ship with these funds! To God be the glory!
