One day a lawyer approached Jesus with a very significant question. He asked, "Teacher, what is the great commandment in the Law?" And Jesus answered him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." Then Jesus added, "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" Love God and love people was Jesus' answer to this all important question. At Loves Creek Baptist Church, this concept is alive in our mission and personifies the motivation of our hearts. Loving God and loving people is what we're all about. As "Christ Followers," our purpose is realized in "Pointing People to Jesus for the Glory of God." We do this by being a reaching church -- reaching up to God in worship, reaching in to minister to one another, and reaching out to change the world with the life saving good news of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join with us in worship, Bible study, fellowship, and prayer, as we love God and love people by sharing the love the Lord Jesus Christ has so graciously given to us.
