Today was filled with JOY, laughter, hugs and love for one another as we gathered for our June JOY lunch. With nearly 50 in attendance we "broke bread" together.
As the basket in the photo reads:
Every time we break bread, we build a bridge. To "break bread" means we don't just hand out resources from a distance. We pull up a chair. We invite people in. Is is an act of mutual respect that says, 'I see you, and you belong here.'
